Remove wastegate spring

Im going to install my turbo in 2 weeks, and i need to get my car to the shop to dyno tune it after but i don;t want to risk running really lean and blowing it. If i was to take the wastegate spring out will it keep the boost out of the engine and just dump it out the dump tube?

yes.there will be no presure on the valve so it should just blow open.

why do you need to do that? feel ichy on the boost? stay off the peddle and jus shift early n normal. dont mash it n you will never peak lean... what u usin for fuel management anyway? if u have it set properly even untuned u shouldn't be hittin lean to bad.
