remove my A/C?

Ahhhh.... my maiden voyage on this site, and on its forum.

I am thinking of turboing my '94 Civic, sporting the D15B7. I have recently discovered that the HF/STD/VX headers will fit my car! Unfortunately, I realize that engine bay space is limited, and I don't want to get rid of my air conditioning. I have heard that most of you guys do get rid of the AC.... but is there any way I can route a short pipe (a couple of inches) from the exhaust manifold to the hot side of my turbo, so as to get the turbo outta the way of my AC compressor? I would try and shift it towards the passenger side, creating a unique downpipe situation. I only want 6-7 psi out of an IHI RHB5, and I was hoping to find a creative location for an eclipse SMIC. I would love to mod my civic with some boost, but I think I will really miss my AC in a couple of years, seeing as how this is my college/young adulthood car. I know you guys are probably gonna tell me to get my priorities straight, and to rip that compressor outta there....

seen a pic once of a IHI installed on a car with AC but it looked a little too close, you will probly have to remove the AC...

Re:remove my A/C?

I was wondering if I could put the SMIC in my original air filter location, perhaps a small hole in the hood and a tiiiiiiny custom hood scoop....? I could use one of the 80's 300zx turbo scoops, the perfect size. But that may just give me away to the other ricers....

AC = Luxury... and a civic is hardly luxurious.... dude just get rid of it... your car came equiped with windows right??? ... well use em... the AC is just gonna get in the way of ---- later on... You'll have way more room to work with

I don't think I've owned a car with A/C that didn't have a leak.

Hrm.. Hehe.. my engine bay is WAY open without my A/C..

Here is a pic without my turbo installed..

Check out all my room up in the front..

Oh, I also put the EG "half" radiator in.. of course, it's too tall, sligh modification has to occur to make it fit.
