remote turbo oiling

Hi I am from Scotland UK
and doing a remote turbo install in a lotus elise ( turbo is not so far being rear engine ) however I am having oil scavenge problems , the very small scavenge pump I got from the USA lasted 5 mins only , So I have a weldon 9200a on its way , but weldon recommend a oil vented scavenge tank , sadly I have very little space and no height as the turbo is very low
Is anyone else using a Scavenge tank and if so what size ? I am about to put a oil restricter into the turbo ( a garrett gt2854r b/b )
I would also like a 1psi check valve same as McMaster sell but have not found anything in the uk yet because my oil supply line is quite long and above the turbo
Any photos of fitted Scavenge tanks including motorcycle fitting would be appreciated or any other setups with remote and scavenge

i used the small oil scavenge pump on a motorcycle. the key to there survival is to wire the pump to run when the fuel pump is running. this way the pump wont be on all the time when the key is on.

build a small resevoir under the turbo the way porsche does it. it will solve your clearence issues.

thanks for that busa
the pump turned out to be broken but after seeing your post re porsche I now have a johnson rear end pump on its way to see if I can fit it as per porsche
