You'll never be able to balance the wheels and shafts properly and it'll probably wear out and die a lot quicker.

Scribe a line showing the relation of the compressor wheel with the shaft.

Right now, your turbo is probably in good rebuildable shape.
you checked your local turbo rebuilder? how much? maybe it'S not that expensive.

DIY turbo rebuild is far from economic when you think about it: At worst, and it's the most common outcome, it will fail right away in a catastrophic fashion resulting in a much more costly rebuild or at best, it will work for a little while but then, you have no warranty. when it fails again, you're back to square one and you'll need to pay at least as much to start over.
The ebay "DIY turbo rebuild kit" is a hoax, a scam. There'S no such thing.
ebay peddlers are laughing while retailing 4$ chinese rebuild kits at 70$! They don'T tell they are useless oem size internals while oversized ones are most of the times required, they don't tell about the specialized tooling and craftmanship required to properly perform a turbo rebuild either.
