so i just boosted my d16 hf manifold with a 14b. now i got a really bad idle and it stalls somtimes. when it does idle sounds like it has a really huge cam in it. i cant find a vacume leak but if i give it one it idles like a champ. whats goin on? and it takes a long time before it builds boost. leak in the chargepiping? or is the wastgate sticking? othan that that it runs great. im tuned with uberdata. it needs alittle bit more tuning but ill keep u updated. thanks

 

maybe your tune is jacked. too much fuel will cause it to do that. also running to rich will also delay boost

 

what spark plugs are you using?

we need to wideband tune it. It isn't a d16, we actually boosted a d15b8 with a 14b and it is running 9 lbs right now, our chip burner and wideband is 40 miles away and we only have 2 chips so it takes a while to try out new tunes. I think the reason it wasn't building boost fast was because of the richness, it is better now...but still is a bit slow at building boost. It will build 5 psi at like 3500
