Random boost cutout???
 

Car on occasion likes to cutout at high rpms. like it hits fuel cut or rev limit and stops making power. just wondering what it could be??

anything else i could check?? Plugs gap?? Could it be a leaky system??

may not be after it warms up necesarly, just after i boost hard. would a bad plug gap cause it?? What are the symptoms of boost leak?? would it cut off quick and pop? And boost wouldnt stay building and would instead cut??

Just a comp;ete throwing it out there guess. You have the wrong map sensor selected in your rom. Or it's a glitchy peice of crap gm map sensor.

A boost leak with a maf style car will do that. But with a honda with a map the thing will just run weak. it won't really cut out or anything. you'll just hit the gas and go nowhere. and the you normaly won't build full boost "where ever you have it set"

wrong, im running a maf setup and it will boost with a boost leak, i had a 1/2 inch hole in my manifold and i still made 10psi, it spooled a little later, didnt have any vac, and wouldnt idle for ---- but it did make boost.
