quiet 3" muffler for turbo?

anyone know of a muffler for 3" thats quiet? i've read that you shouldn't use chambered mufflers for turbo systems, but I want my car to be quiet.(sleeper!) any thoughts?

Use a inline resonator, and a straight through muffler like the HKS or Apexi N1..

will a 3" glasspack work for a resonator or do I have to get a specific resonator?

If your looking for really quite you should run a dynomax turbo muffler. They are not ideal for top hp but its gonna be quite.

A glass pack is ok for a resonator.

Using two inline 3" resonators w/ no muffler. Not too loud at all. I dont really like loud exhausts, but I kinda like the way it sounds.
Been thinking of puting a quiet ass muffler on and using a cutout. That would be the best of both.

Anyone wanna host a short vid clip?

I have a 3" to the back with 1 resonator and no muffler or cat, it sounds like a regualar rice grinder exhaust, but i bet 2 would make it super quite.

And ill host ur video

I'm using the dynomax turbo muffler, I don't know how much power I've cut using it... but I get a deeper rice rumble (sounds like mad bass from a distance) but its a lot better then when I ran the car with just a resonator.

Re:quiet 3" muffler for turbo?

all I have now is 2 1/4 exhaust with a 2 1/2 flowmaster(had it laying around) and it pulls ok, but #1 its louder than I want, #2 i think it may be too restrictive. but i'm not racing anyhow, so doens't matter. I'm probably going to paint and sell it soon anyhow, gotta make room for some other projects.

1st gen DSM BOV. There we were getting 6psi 1st,2nd. about 8 top of 3rd. LS tranny no good for this kind of power band/delivery.
