are all b series manifold interchangable ?
i.e will a b16a manifold fit on a b18a

 

no i dont think the b16 will fit the b18a. but im not sure about that because the first gen b16 and b18a look identical. but i dont know forsure if they fit. but the b16 and type r are the same. the gsr is an odd ball of them all. and will not bolt up to any other b series head.

 

I thought that all B shared the same bolt patterns.. can't really speak for the b16, I don't get to play with any of them. The B18a/b and B20b are identical. I would assume the b18c and b20z as well.

4 different blocks
4 different head
all interchangeable

they are interchangeable.

 

so ur sure... i mean the only reason i want to no is because i have a good deal on a b16 turbo manifold and didnt want to jump on it if it wouldnt fit my b18a1

 

Yes sir, that is correct, hard core honda lover here, and all D series are the same, and all B series are the same!!!

that is the greatest thing about it, too bad a B and a D werent the same tho!!!!!!

 

The b18a/b18b/b20b Share a bolt pattern
The b18c1 Uses a Unique Bolt pattern
The b16a/b17a/b18c5 Share A bolt pattern

EDIT: My bad, that's for intake manifolds...i misread. All B-Series EXHAUST manifolds share the same bolt pattern.

 

That info is dead on. I thought you were talking about intake mani's too.
even though the bolt patterns on the exhaust match do they all clear the oil pan? im thinking the jdm itr mani may not clear a b18a/b pan but im not sure.

 

pattern is the same but the heads are cast different

 

ZC exhaust manifolds are interchangable, but the ports are different.(zcs are bigger)
