Default quick turbo install question, bare with me

i know that on a crx theres very little space between the block and the front crossmember... but to anyone who has tried, would i be able to bolt up a dsm t25 turbo(w/ hf mani) using the stock eclipse downpipe and 02 housing without it hitting the front crossmember?

I used the stock O2 housing on my 90 hatch but that involved cutting/bashing the crossmember in and the stock downpipe I recall is not even clost to fitting.Do you have a welder? Now would be the time to buy a cheap fluxcore and get a downpipe flange and build your own downpipe.

Basically yes.The best way is to cut a section out to make room and weld it back up but Im not sure if you have a welder.I cut the lip and a section of box and then welded a patch piece back in as it is a strucural piece on the older 88-91's.Buying some traction bars would solve all your problems and LSD Motorsports sells some for pretty cheap.
