Has anybody seen t3 adapter plates for those wierd t3's, you know the ones with a round center section. I got one of a Volvo 740 the other day, but haven't found any adapter plates for it. Here's the pic.

It looks like the adapter plate shown disreagrds the circular portion...?

 

what happens is part of theat circle hangs over the gasket and it leaks. when i installed one of those i welded the circular part inj and then had it surfaced flat agin. woeked like a charm. then you casn use a std t3 mani and not worry about leaks

 

Pretty sure that flange would leak.. I had a volvo turbo I used on a HF manifold/T3 setup, but my adapter plate was alot wider than that, so it covered the circular portion and did not leak. Just be sure to use a gasket.

 

id weld the circular part in...i did it to a kids t3 for him. i welded the half moon part and then resurfaced the flange. then it was just like a reg t3 flange again
