Quick question on compressor housing nipple
This thunderbird turbo I have has a dual outlet fitting on the compressor housing. One goes to the wastegate... does anybody know what the other one was used for? I'm going to get a new fitting with just one nipple but I'm just curious as to what this could be used for on the stock T-bird.

Plug it or just get a single port fitting.

It came with this little cap but I don't see how it could hold up under 10 psi. I'm gettin a new fitting.

Re: Quick question on compressor housing nipple
i bet the cap would hold up just fine at 10psi, I think it was for some kind of boost solenoid on that port. What you should do is take out that fitting and plug it with a bolt or somthing, then run the wastegate actuator vac line to your intake manifold
