Word. so is this: http://www.geocities.com/chmwatson/FAQs/mbc.html reliable? It doesn't sound hard to make at all. I just don't want to waste 15 bucks and blow my car up.

Ok, I got pretty much everything to make this, but one thing the instructions didn't really specify is how stiff the spring is supposed to be. Is it better to use a stiffer spring or no?

Personally id start with a lighter spring.

BTW ive used the hell out of the ebay boost controllers, and ive built my own, both work well. $30 isnt bad unless your dead set on making your own in which case more power to ya.

Re: quick question

Well I just made one. We'll see if it works or not. I had to use the stiffer spring cause the other one kept getting stuck and finally just fucked itself all up. I hae to cut the good spring to the exact length of the "body", so I hope it'll work. Thanks for the help.
