Re: Questions on turboing my accord
You might wanna try Honda-Tech. I don't think there's many (if any) Accord guys here.

Re: Questions on turboing my accord
Some detail to what ar the compressor is aswell as the turbine ar. I have a turbo 95 accord with a t3 42/.48 with a 50 trim and it spools real quick but could use some help up top. But from what you say so far no i hardley doubt it will be too big, if anything too small for our 2.2lt engines.

it should fit. MRX is usiing a t3/t4 combo, and i believe he still has his a/c. just make sure there is plenty of clearance by the a/c lines, or you'll burn them fuckers up |
Re: Questions on turboing my accord
alright cool.... i would assume that the front motor mount has to come out right? also what oil line kit do i get???
|
Re: Questions on turboing my accord
I used the one from stealth mode performance and it havent had any leaks with it, and yes you will probably have to take out that front mount if you want to keep your ac as i did.

Re: Questions on turboing my accord
So this is where i recognize your name from. Yes i was able to retain my a/c and p/s...didn't even have to move any of that stuff. Whether you have to take out the front motor mount depends largely on where the manifold positions the turbo. I think u said you already worked around it tho. --------------------------- has oil line kits so try there or just ask Gude like i said at cb7tuner.

Re: Questions on turboing my accord
with a DSM manifold, you are going to have to remove the front motor mount, and shave the trans housing some as well...
that turbo should be fine.. |
Re: Questions on turboing my accord
either that turbo or i'll just settle for a t25 or 14b i guess...

Re: Questions on turboing my accord
im an accord guy, and i would recommend taking out the ac... it frees up so much more room, and also, if you can find an ac condensor fan from a nissan, or something like that (mine is from a 300zx turbo) that blows instead of sucks (lol) it will also free up a lotta space for you to work with, i can take some pics of how i mounted mine if you want just pm me!

Re: Questions on turboing my accord
we just finished up turbo'in skinnyE's accord, and yes you going to have to take out the front motor mount and shave some of the tranny housing. if you have any problems w/ the radiator, just swap it out for a half dual core radiator

Re: Questions on turboing my accord
I just got done with my dsm turboed prelude with your engine (f22a1) and I took my ac comprssor out for less weight and space but not sure if you absolutly need to, and the motor mount you def. need to take off and grind part of the block off, mainly the right female extension for the motor mount
