Default questions for people experienced with e-cutouts

im thinking of putting a 3" e-cutout on my downpipe, but ive heard of some e-cutouts going to ---- after awhile.
i need reccomendations from those who have experiance with e-cutouts. i need to know what to avoid, and good experiances as well.
only those who have had one. bullshitters can go fist a chicken.

i have heard of plenty going to ----.

so far the best one based on 1st-hand reviews is the DMH, followed by the QTP.

hey drunkinmaster, i have a 2.5" QTP cutout with flanges, y-pipe, wiring and everything that i would hook you up with for cheap. i dont know how stuck you are on the 3" though...

Put loctie on all the bolts, that is the only thing wrong that I have seen.

I have a Badlands e-cutout and well..it works. After the first day it quit but it was the shitty wire used. I beefed up the wire and redid the solders and havent had a problem since. It does have a tiny leak almost like it wont fully close but its barely audible. I like it, it works, it was cheap. Same thing here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Elect...spagenameZWDVW
