Question on Stock Ls Sleeves

I want to hit mid 13's in my 93 teg and im wondering how much hp can the stock sleeves hold? I ve heard u should sleeve if ur goin to make 300 or more is this about right? Or is it more about how well ur motor is tuned?

the first posts usually get me. if you think your sleeves won't hold, do what I did to my LS block:

and cut your own damn hair.

tuning is very important, you could always post them to help with the power

i posted mine, and would never use a blockguard unless maybe it was welded in and then i got the block bored

Block posts are the worst thing you could ever do to your motor. Your better off hitting the sleeves with a hammer a couple of times and save the $30.00
