Question for guys that have gauges on their A pillar?
How did you guys run the wires and vac hose through dash. Did you somehow get it through the crack between the pillar and dash or did you drill a small hole in the dash? I'm using a thicker vac hose than the one that came with the autometer. Also what did you use a a power and ground source? thanks any help is appreciated

i drilled 2 holes in the OEM A-pillar for the wires and vac gauge then ran them in the crack between the dash and the pillar (youll see it when you remove pillar). I taped my wires to a thicker piece of wire to push it down through, or feed a coathanger from the bottom, tape your wires and pull them through.

I thought the Autometer A Pillar mounts on top of the existing pillar? I ran my wires and hose straight down between the door and the dash.
To get through the firewall, there's a little black plug in the engine bay on the drives side near the top of the bay. If you pull that out and push something sharp through it, you can break through the foam insulation and you're inside!
Don't remember what I used for grounds, but the power and lights got tapped into my cruise control button.

Yeah the pod just goes on top of the existing pillar. Just having troubles try gettimg wire and hoses through dash. The space in between dash and pillar is very tight that's why I'm going to try and pop the oem pillar off to make things a little easier to work with. Unless thats not neccesary.

take the window out, take the dash out, the back seat out, run the wires/vac hoses through the car into the trunk under the car and up to the firewalland back into the car then through the little crack betweek the pillar and the dash and then really carefully put the window back in trying not to crack the lines running under it, then put the dash back in and whala! you got yourself some good looking gauges im kidding just go through the crack, its kinda a pain, but youll get it
