Question on Fuel pressure Regulator

j'ai un fuel pressure regulator B&M and i install a fuel gauge on my factory hose from the fuel filter to the fuel rail.

And i need to know if it is correct because i know that the pressure raise of 20 psi from the factory FPR but if i turn to inscrese it or lower it, the pressure doesn't move.

So it is correct or not.. what is the problem???

Re:Question on Fuel pressure Regulator

Stock pressure should be 32-37psi base.

Re:Question on Fuel pressure Regulator

ok

I will check with an other gauge because i had 60 psi on the factory FPR and 80 psi with the FPR B&M.

Re:Question on Fuel pressure Regulator

i check with an other gauge and i have the same pressure. So it is correct to put a T on the factory hose( between the fuel filter and the Fuel rail) and install my gauge here????

what can cause this high pressure???

Where ever i try to lower it, the pressure doesn't move.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Sure you're reading the correct part of the gauge? It may have a couple of different measurements on it.

Re:Question on Fuel pressure Regulator

you thinks???

because i test it with Fuel gauge of my friend(come from a garage) and i have the same pressure... but i think maybe it's not a good place to take the pressure.

But i think that if it not a good place, the gauge gave me less pressure, not more..

What do you think???

Does the FPR OEM can be faillure and inscrease the pressure?

What? ???

Re:Question on Fuel pressure Regulator

You said if i'm sure if i read the correct part of the gauge..

Yes because on my gauge, the only measurrement is on PSI.

So like i said, maybe it's the location where i install the gauge, but i think if i don't install it at a good place, it suppose to give less pressure not more..

What do you think??

Do you think that the FPR OEM(installed with the B&M FPR) is fail and give me more fuel??

bump

To know what to do and decrease my fuel pressure

Re:Question on Fuel pressure Regulator

put your stock regulator back on.. oh wait.. doesnt the B&M just go over the old stock one? and you have to hack the top part off...?

you should just be able to loosen the jam nut on the regulator and loosen the diaphram stud and watch the fuel pressure lower.
