Default Question about T25s....

I recently Homemade turboed my MINIME and last night I blew the seals out of my turbo becuase it is leaking like crazy everywhere... it is also smoking up a storm too. I noticed the oil coming out of the wastegate so its definately gone. Recently I picked up another T25 from the junkyard but it has alot of shaft play.... My question is can I take both of these turbos apart and make one good working turbo? If so what all would I need to do to do this?
Thanks!

You can't really make 2 junk turbos into 1 good, more than likely they are ineed of the same parts...send one or both to Blaast for a rebuild, I hear they do good work are affordable and you will have a warrenty

i will waranty a t25 only if i deem your use of it appropriate!
They're small. it's easy to max them out.

yes of course the turbo is balanced. Otherwise, it wouldn't be a rebuild.

Will you balance us DIY rebuilders turbos, of course I'd assume no warrenty but how much for just that service

yes sure if you send just the rotating assembly, i can balance it for 50$ no warranty. That's a very bad idea though....balancing is just 10% of a proper and successful rebuild.

sounds like a waste of money for such a small-*** turbo to me. the amount of money to service it can get you another junkyard turbo.
it whould be a good start, but after awhile you gonna want to upgrade to a bigger turbo.
