question about the quality of an intercooler...

Hello, my name is Marc, I just joined the site after lurking for quite awhile. I have been researching alot and have now started buying parts for my turbo project. I just picked up a new JDM sport FMIC for my D16A6 turbo project. I will be running a lightly ported HF manifold, a ported T25 with 2.5 intercooler piping. My question is if this intercooler is number one, suffiicient enough for my setup and number two, are the decent enough quality that if I move on to a built motor in the future I will still be able to run this intercooler? They seem like they are constructed very well, but I am no intercooler expert. I got the FMIC for 150 bucks brand new, so either way I guess I cant complain.. Let me know what you guys think,
-Marc

Realistically any intercooler will owrk fine for a basic kit on a stock motor.Intercooler choice doesnt become a issue until your trying to make big hp or running the ---- out of a small turbo generating a ton of heat.
