ok. so the problem is that you mention obd1 in the first post.
which the sensor would be on the intake mani.

and then later you mention obd2-1 conversion.
Sooooo....you most like have the IAT in the intake tube.

It will run fine, for the most part, with it hanging. But you eventually want to tap the charge pipe and get that back in there.

As for the oil feed, there are 2 methods mentioned:

• An oil sandwich adapter which will have additional thread for the oil filter.
• Also the T which screws into the oil pressure sensor hole.

Next time you post a question you just need to give more details.

I agree...more info on the next post would be a very wise decision on your part. As for the IAT sensor, it really would be beneficial to put it back in the intake piping somewhere (especially if you're going to run Crome, there are IAT corrections that are taken into account for fuel correction), or look into getting an older style intake manifold (like a d16z6 or even aftermarket if the price is right) that has the IAT sensor machined into the intake manifold itself.

What everyones questioning is how quickly you will fail at this. from the type of questions you are asking it doenst seem as if you would be able to change your spark plugs with out asking questions. Thats not a bad thing it just means you dont understand enought abotu whats going on underyour hood to start turboing it. go grab a wrench because reading interweb help will only take you so far.

And by the way Yes this IS Homemade Turbo and that is WHY you should post porn. if you read stickys you wouldn't have had this small amount of flaming.

thank you for the two above who were actually useful. i will probably just go ahead and tap the IC piping for the sensor. and FYI i can change almost anything on my engine without trouble. so far i've done sparkplug, dizzy, rotor and cap, IM, exhaust mani, and so on. its the computer and electric crap that i struggle with. thanks again to the helpful ones

dont forget to flip the throtle body butterfly around when you install te turbo. The butterfly is designed to seal vacume right now, once you boost it you have to switch it around to be able to seal the preassure

one more thing, i DID search this but got mixed results from it. if im using the dsm 450s with a resistor box, will i need to get OBDI injector clips too, or can i stick with the stock ones?

ok i'll probably pick up one of those from you. are those only needed because of the shape of the plug on the injector, or is it because of the OBDI ecu as well? i've heard of people cutting the little square plug guard around the prongs on the injector and plugging up the factory clips. thanks for the help
