me and my buddy are puttin together a setup for his lude and i just had a few questions i needed to clear up. i know that the pcv valve has to be run different since there is boost on manifold but what about all the other little vacuum lines that are coming off the manifold?? can any of them stay or do they need to?? and which ones need to be plugged?? and also..is there any certain inlet and outlet direction on vortech fmu's? there is a place on the bottom for fuel line and a place on the side and i couldnt figure out if it mattered which side was in and which was out to the fuel rail. any information or help would be greatly appreciated..thanks

why would you need to remove/plug up any vac lines? i dont even know why you would change the pcv setup. leave all vac lines where they are and just tap for your boost gauge and what not. there is a specified inlet and outlet on fmu's.

i thought that if we dont fix the pvc system then we would be pressurizing the crankcase. and thats never good. am i wrong?

no.
installing a turbo setup.
and trying to figure out what to do with all the vacuum lines. and how to do the pvc.

if we dont change the pvc then it will put tons of pressure in the crankcase.
so i dont know, but i think BoosTedZSix doesent know.

PCV not PVC.. but you cannot leave it the same anyways..it would pressurize the crankcase right??

unless you are running a lot of boost i would leave the pcv alone, unless you WANT to change it, then follow the DIY thread, should only take a couple of hours

pvc??? positive ventilation crankase??? i thought it was pcv, positive crankcase ventilation....
