Re:putting together a shopping list
unless you split the manifold, you can drive it with a crack in it. i've had one in my stock manifold for about 9 or 10 months now, no problem

Re:putting together a shopping list
buy a half-made kit from the classifides section, and go from there. im sure you could go a hell of alot cheaper...
usally if you wait, and watch the ad's, you can get pretty much everything for $500 tops. and you can cut costs to, and start with a mitsu S/M intercooler...HF manifold, you could do this ALOT cheaper... |
Re:putting together a shopping list
sorry... its split right where the O2 sensor goes.... its not running... i ran a while with just a crack...
i think in my case it would be best if i got a kit with everything included..... i have a feeling with a homemade kit i'd just screw something up.... |

Re:putting together a shopping list
DON"T buy anything from obx. there is a guy on the boards with pics of his obx manifold. he's had to reweld ---- like 15 times. and it just keeps on cracking in places. obx is ----

Re:putting together a shopping list
well I would say invest your money in other places for your setup instead of crappy manifolds or overpriced kits.
-Go for a automatic to 5spd conversion -Go for OBD2 -> OBD1 Conversion -Buy a burner and run some uberdata -Buy a real manifold or run the HF/STD with adapter plate over that OBX crap |
