It cleared just fine 
plz excuse the mess on the flange, it wipes off. at the time of this picture the POS TiAL gasket was leaking ... so I made my own out of a 1/16 sheet of aluminum tonight.. just like my DP flange I had to as well.

dunno, the flange i have is stainless and I'm not sure how I feel about welding a mildsteel pipe to a stainless flange w/110 wirefeed mig. only thing its doing is making a mess in my engine bay :P
