Hope this is not a dumb question but i currently have a B18 with a T3.I currently use check valves to avoid cel code,waste gate is set at 5psi but with check valves i get 3 psi i'm using 12:1 fpr and 190 FP,i just wanted to know if i turn up the boost 2 psi will my motor seeing 7 but being bleed of to 5 as 5 psi with valve is 3 psi.

i suggest you get rid of your fuel setup immedialtey ..

you must have a boost leak, or your turbo is too small.

 

Thanks for the reply it a Volvo turbo with .42/ A/R on it garett not sure what the other trims are i bought it from ebay i think it was of a 740 model i think or 240 over a year ago,also i forgot when i take of the check valve i get full 5psi.

 

probably a boost leak for sure.

ditch the check valve/FMU bullshit, put your fuel pressure back to stock, get some dsm 450's, and talk to xenocron about getting your ECU chipped and basemapped.

 

Going to upgrade that has been my plan after this ---- set up but just for knowledge i get 5 psi with out check valves 3psi with so i don't thinl it a leak but i will check.

Yeh definately get your ecu chipped and chuk those 450's in.
