Default PSI to HP or TQ Ratio

Does anyone know on the average for every 1 psi you produce how much HP or torque to you get? This is geared towards a honda d series engine d16y8

it's not how many pounds you run that makes power it's how mch air you move. SO in other words, it would depend entirely on the compressor wheel you are moving air with.

luke is right on with that comment. A t-3 won't produce near the volume that a t3/t4 hybrid or a full out t4 will. And not only that...you have to throw efficiency into the game. For example, if you're turning 5 psi out of a t-3 and gain 50hp, it doesn't mean that if you run 20psi out of a t-3 you'll gain 200hp. Of course the turbo isn't the only thing that effects effciency. If you run a spearco intercooler, it's going to cool the air more than lets say a starion ic is because the core design itself is more efficient. So there is no set magical number that you can pull out of a hat and say "for every 1psi you boost you'll get 10hp." Hope that was clear enough...it's been a long day
