Interesting approach with the dual inlet intecooler might work pretty slick.Gotta love boosting EF's with cramped engine bays O0

Yeah i wasnt going to at first, but this looks like it will work out very well... the charge pipes will be quite simple, my only issue is the ic is 3 inches thick.. bumper doesnt like it much.

Power goals? Well its stock b18, so right now im aiming for 200-220ish to the wheels on about 8-10psi.

I have a spare block I am building as well.

thats all??

i have 2 friends running on bone stock LS motors that make atleast around 300whp daily driven. both have hmt setups running BRE. im in the process of doing the same setup on MY hatch too.

one of them dynoed 350whp/320tq on 20psi and runs a consistant 11.5 in 1/4.

btw......im diggin the zipties (i mean "safety straps") on the bov

LOL! there is a reason for those.... see.. I was too lazy to find a flange, and i had an aem intake, so i slapped in a caravan bov, and just for safety put on zip ties.

Anyway it runs, overheated due to a broken rad so ill fix it today. here is some finished pics.

y white O0?? just wondering. odd choice i think.

unique.....intercooler setup :y

just go get a 1g dsm bov and get the flange welded on. they're cheap

its actually more silver then anything. It was either silver, black, or rust. Black i dunno looks ok but meh i wanted something different. I have a 1gen dsm bov waiting on a flange. I have a huge exhaust leak at the head to manifold, so im waiting to get a gasket to fix that. its causing it to overheat. ( its basically a exhaust leak aimed at my rad. )

But it runs good now, tuned the idle well enough it hovers around 14's

Its runnig but im having overheating issues now... i had a normal half rad in, threw in a dual core and it still overheats when im going slow, or idling... albeit it is pretty damn hot here... anyone else have issues with b18 in this heat with a half rad?

Well it's obviously due to that huge silvery thingy blocking the radiator :1

the only two things i can think of is the radiator cap, or the mix isnt 50/50. ive been having the same issues with my car. the mix was too watery an building up too much pressure, overflowing the reservoir and then evaporating.

then again, i dont know much about cooling systems

Well when im cruising its fine, as soon as I slow down, or stop, it overheats. I made my fan run all the time as well. I'm going to try and fit my full rad in today. With everything as it is, it looks like it will fit.
