Default problems with the new setup

i got a hf mani and t25 setup in my 90 4d civic. it is obd1 with a gsr ecu. the motor is a d16a6. managment is a vafc with 450 blue tops. the problem is i stomp on the gas and it spools up pretty quik and then once i hit about 4000 rpm the car just seems like it gets fuel cut. i was thinking to rich or to lean so i went ahead and gave it more fuel then less fuel and same problem. obviously you guys would have more smarts on this crap then i would so lmk whats up with this ish.

also the spark plugs were removed and were black around the edges and white on the the tip.

well maybe you should get your ---- tuned since its obd1 , and why do you have a vafc on a non-vtec motor?

well i dont care for a single cam motor. im getting a full si swap tomorrow for 125. so if this doesent work out oh well. i have a vafc on a non vtec motor so i can controll fuel. and frankly unless a single cam is built and has some money into it i could care less if its tuned. i just want it to rev past 4 grand.
