Problems hitting boost

i have a 2000 civic ex with an f-max turbo kit. it ran fine the day i put it on and started it up. i was hitting boost with no problems at all. the next day i went to drive it, and in the low-end it is the same, but one boost builds and is about to kick, the car sputters, cracks, and popps, out from the exhaust. i know there is someone out there that can help me out. by the way, where does the vacuum hose go to that is on the side of the wastegate. i have a turbonetics mark 2, does it go onto the brass fitting that is on the compressor housing where in intercooler pipe goes in to?? someone told me to put it to my vacuum lines on my intake manifold, i just want to make sure for the right place to plug it in to.

where does the vacuum hose go to that is on the side of the wastegate.

it goes on the intake manifold for best results.

When your car sputters what does the A/F gauge say? it could do that if your running way rich.

my local spped shop said that i need to get a wideband o2 sensor, that my stock one is no good, and it is probly fouled. is this true?? my a/f gauge goes between stoich and rich as i am driving constant without moving the gas pedal.
