pretty simple. You probably already have couplers so go to homo depot or blowes and get a couple pvc caps and a quick connect nipple for an air line. tap one cap and thread nipple in, use couplers to cap both ends of ic. Connect air line to nipple and slowly open the air regulator from the compressor's tank until it reaches whatever pressure you'll be running. Squirt soapy water over intercooler and look for bubbles.

If you don't have a compressor I'm sure someone locally has one.

for the truly ghetto
If you still can't find a compressor substitute the quick connect nipple for a tire valve and go to the local gas station with a pocket full of quarters and the same squirty bottle of soapy water. (I got like 4 from the dollar store I use them for all kinds of ----)

You could also put the whole thing in a basin of water and then add the pressure.
