Default Prefab oil feed/return kit, or DIY?

Which way do you guys usually go? Do you just buy a prefabbed kit for 80US, or do you just assemble your own? I can't figure out which will be cheaper without skimping on quality, since I want to do it right the first time.

Well, to do it right, I would suggest buying one from Stealthmode, but if you want to do it cheap, go to Homeboy Depot and start piecing that ---- together. You will still need the block fitting though. I think the kit is worth every penny.

i agree. you can get the 1/8 bspt to npt adapter from mcmaster carr for 5.99 and the tranny cooler hose from autzone for 15 bucks. itll cost you 30 tops to do it yourself, i did, but i found myself out buying a stealthmode kit very shortly after i melted the hose and cooked a turbo. imho stealths kit is the only way to go.

I used brake line alot and it works really good. There's no chance of it melting and it costs under $10.00 for both the feed and return. However, I just bought my first Stealthmode oil line kit the other day so I'm waiting to see if it lives up to its reputation

If you got the time and patience you should piece it together...but it's just alot easier to pick up one of stealth's. I did and it looks good.

I used a -3 goodridge brake lines along with tuner toys fitting then got a stealthmode drain line didn't even use teflon tape not a leak. The Stealthmode drain line is worth every cent.

I using predab with brass fittings, tranny cooler hose and some brakeline to keep the hose away from the turbo. Used a little bit of JB weld and had no probs
