Precision SC60 too big for lsvtec?!?
i got a Precision SC6031e turbo. The specs.... T3/T4 A/R .60 cold side and .63 Hot side. How well will this big fucker spool my ls/vtec? what type of spool characteristics are we looking at? This thing is freakin gigantic compared to my garret t3 63/60. ... :S Charge piping im looking at either 2" or 2.5". can changing my diameter piping alter the effects of it's spool significantly?

It is a medium sized turbo for an LSV or GSR. With a 3" exhaust you'll get 10psi by 4500. Even sooner in third and hgiher. |
Re: Precision SC60 too big for lsvtec?!?
i have a t3t4 60 63 70trim on an ls, hitting full boost by 4500rpms, turbo hits pretty hard....so id so its not too big for your lsvtak

Re: Precision SC60 too big for lsvtec?!?
my roomates sohc had a sc6152e with a stage 5 wheel on a z6 pushing 22+ psi it hit full boost at 5300 and sounded like a air plane ... that turbo you have is perfect for a ls/vtak
