K im about to start on my b18 boos project.. and im just kinda wondering wut turbo trim to run to get about 18psi max..... i know stock ls sleeves dont handle that... or stock ls internals at all.. but im ordering cp pistons n GE rods.... also how bad is the problem of overheating with a blockguard installed? cuz i dont really feel like pushin cash toward a fluidyne radiator. thanbks guys

If done right, you wont have any over heating problems. oh, and you can get 18 psi out of just about any turbo.

your question should be what trim a/r turbo is required for my hp goal not psi
psi is not your limit factor... flow is and thats got to do with the type of turbo and psi
you could use a very tiny turbo to get 18 psi and that get you no extra hp

the stock sleeves can handle 18 lbs of boost my friends ls he got 22 lbs before boom and that was on a spark plug tune with crome wo with the rite timing yes it will hold 18 lbs so u dont need a block guard and no longer have to worry about over heating. oh yea he beat on his car pretty hard as do most people with a boosted honda.i flog on d series at 11 lbs and have ben told my friedns that it wouldnt see past 8 or 9 stock. with a t3 48 60.

my hp goals would set around inbetween 250-300....... i live in Montana and im just trying to get around a low 13 DD car..... all my friends are using 14bs but i wana go bigger than that.. plus they all boosted zcs and im guna be about the 2nd or 3rd boosted B in town... and you can imagine lol... it is montana

gt42r is your only choice. hell, save urself some money and don't even worry about that whole wastgate noise, they're over rated
