Ive got my 1st gen DSM BOV sitting here next to me and Im just wondering what it's going to sound like. Please post up either a video or a sound clip of your DSM BOV on your car.....thanks

That's the sound of a first generation DSM BOV venting 5PSI directly into the atmosphere.
I like it. It's not annoyingly loud, but it does sound interesting and unusual.

dont worry, you'll love it. its a nice long wooshh.
its a little loud for my semi sleeper look but its gets the point across when you need too!

Mine goes pssssss at 5 psi and pssshowwwwooowwwwniggapowwwwwshhhhhctchaaaa at 8psi and above

I just took a wire brush drill bit to mine and polished it up real good. They look nice natural like that.

He definately doesn't have a filter or has a leak because the hiss is greater than normal. It's also an automatic. It doesn't really matter though, cause buying a bov for the sound is tey gahy

i dont know whos taking the video personally. i whould never buy an auto car. i was just using the video a referance on a 1st gen dsm bov.

You can hear it a little bit during the burnout, mine had the reference hole in the bottom plugged and was venting 29#.
