popping up spark plug wires
what`s that all about? one was just sitting on the plug. i have a filter on the vent tube and the intake part plugged up

i have a d16y7 sohc non vtec. nology wires and plugs. before thwe turbo install i noticed every so often i could push down on the wires and they would pop on. now with the turbo they are poping off more , one was just sitting on the plug. has anyone ever heard of such a wierd thing?

i assume you are talking about the spark plug towers? they slide on the wires. you can adjust them....so if they have moved and there is too much tension on them they might pop off more often...other than that i dont know what in the hell you are talking about.

what is happening is that the plug wires are popping of the spark plugs.

uhm. is your breather hole hooked up to your intake? if so disconnecct it and get a breather filter for it.
its prolly popping them off because the o rings that seal the spark plug hole to the valve cover are shot to ----. or being blown in by positive pressure in the valve cover. if you already have a breather filter on your VC try replacing those O rings. when doing your VC make sure u put RTV high heat sealant on the gasket because itll leak like a dirty ----- if you dont. |
