So....what boost are you seeing? You never responded to my last post, to busy trash talking I guess. 3 psi? 10 psi? 20 psi? Makes a difference, if you have a boost leak you should see it.

A boost leak in a DSM isn't like a boost leak in a speed density / MAP sensor car where you just don't make as much boost. It's unmetered air and really fucks with the mixture a lot (pig rich). It'll feel like it's hitting fuel cut or if it's bad enough won't even rev out. I swear to God it's a boost leak, so boost leak test your damn car and you'll find your problem.

Is the bov recirced?

Recirc it and see if the car runs better.

The factory computer doesn't like it when the bov vents to the atmosphere.....

We really need to know what the psi is at.

What has been done for the fuel system?

We dont know ---- enough to really help you. Dont spend any money until you find the problem.

Jesus Christ man, stop posting retarded ---- about DSM's. Venting your BOV won't cause the symptoms he's having, especially under any sort of load. A vented BOV on a mass air sensor only causes small driveability issues during idle and shifts. That's why it falls on its face when you put the clutch in or shoots flames when you shift. It's a ------- boost leak you goddamn retards.

Either a boost leak or an issue with the MAF itself (or wiring to the maf), I've seen that happen before too.

If it's a stock boosted 420a more than likely the stock maf is being maxed to ---- and the ecu's going nuts. It's really hard to give you ideas when we don't even know what motor/ecu setup it is.

I take it the guy spent all that money in engine performance and a paint job, but didn't bother to pick himself up a wideband?

I know what you're talking about, I'm going with a fuel/ecu related problem on this one.

Its easier to get the vain girls in the car (to rape them) with a cool paint job than with a ricer fly-by. Thats why so many loosers have ricer wings, body kits, and 24" rims. :y

If our car guy had any clue, he'd have pulled the plugs each time to see what was going on. A wideband isn't needed for diagnosing an extreme fuel problem (pig rich/super lean).
