plugs ques
 
i wanted to know what spark plugs to go with for my zc was looking into the zex plugs because they are designed for forced induction but open to any other sugg.

NGK- One heat range colder than stock. :)

dont use any splitfire or iridium or platinum plug, just stick to copper 1 or 2 steps colder NGK plugs. They are tits for boost and hold up well. Somtimes platinum or funky multi electrode trick plugs melt or break under big boost applications, and those pieces that break off end up in your cylinder walls, valves and turbo turbines (usually with disasterous concequences)

what cars uses BKRE7-11 as oe plugs? i have been trying to buy some plugs for a while but the dumb asses at autozone don't know what 1 step colder plugs mean and then can't look it up by BKRE7-11 because they stock them with their own part #

The part number is BKR7E-11

yea i figured i typed it wrong.....just guessing off the top of my head but either way they said they need the car that uses them in order to look them up. anyone know?

If you have a napa parts store... they will cross refference it back for you, they did for me. I got mine there..

The stock-number for the NGK BKR7E-11 is 1283, so maybe give that a try.


they should be listed for the '01 Integra.

I ordered mine in bulk from rockauto.com ... i just ordered 20 BKR7e's the other day and it set me back maybe 35 bux..if you do a google search you can always find 5 % off coupons.
