Ok you guys, I've been wondering lately about what to use in my intake as a plenum for my ka24de intake, you know, those huge fucked up looking bastards, anyways, I want to do something like this:
Attachment 19870 So, I was thinking about what material to use and it came to my mind yesterday as we were working on a cobra at the shop, why the hell not use a alum driveshaft?????? Anybody done it? yes? not? Maybe use steel and for instance take a fire extingiesher (however that spells)????? Perhaps too thin? Tell me what you guys think. Oh, yeah, here you go: http://www.--------------/wp-content...07/07/-------- http://www.rabbitsreviews.com/blog/p...round--------- http://www.insanemidget.com/dstgp/04...i_04_s1/12.jpg http://www.insanemidget.com/dstgp/04...i_04_s1/13.jpg |

Re: Plenums?? PORN???
Fencepost. If Complex can make an exhaust manifold out of it, no reason you can't do the opposite and make an intake manifold.

I saw pictures of a Neon engine with a fire extinguisher plenum once. I saved them, but I think that was before my hard drive crash. :1 Colin |
