ok im buying rods for my z6 and i want to know where to get the best deal...i really dont care what brand they are since there all the same, i just want the best deal! im cheap i know! i checked on e-ghey and there right at 300 shipped for scat. is there anybody out there that has a better deal?

be wary when it comes to internal parts dont just buy the cheapest what you can buy .when it breaks you'll have no one to blame but yourself

hey craig would you match the price of the scat ones on e-ghey? i know its only like 15 bucks after the 5% discount, but hey im cheap!

when are the other d-series rods comin back??? ive been waiting for a while but i cant wait any longer my build is way over budget allready and rods are the only thing that im waiting for thats why im on the cheap right now! i have to see 20psi soon or im gonna freak!

So these rods when corrected will fit without notching the block on a D series ?

Jesus Christ. ALL AFTERMARKET D SERIES RODS REQUIRE THE BLOCK TO BE NOTCHED.

The D series rods that TunerToys originally had in stock that were thought to be for the D16A6, D16Z6, AND D16Y8 were actually D16A1 rods, which weren't what everyone wants. When we talk about the "correct" rods coming in stock, that's referring to the D16A6, Z6 AND Y8 rods.

ALL OF THEM WILL REQUIRE NOTCHING. The only rods that don't require notching are the factory ones that came in the block originally.

alright cool, then i'll just wait til he gets the right one for d series so i don't have to to notch my block. thanks stealthmode :)

thats not allways true i beams you dont have to notch but are way spendy..

We are still expecting them in a couple of weeks. Our order is already in with the manufacturer, and the payement has been sent. We'll post it up in GD when they are ready for sale.

Yes on notching, as stated by Stealthy.

Not sure about matching Scats, send me a link to the auction at "sales@tunertoys.com". If it is an established seller, and not some kind of close-out or one of a kind, I may consider it...
