I've got some pics up finally of my turbo project. Unfortunately the seals in the turbo were bad so i've had to yank the turbo and am looking for another one. Instead of posting individual pics I'll let everyone go to my site.

so you have an internal wastegate but it doesn't run into the downpipe?
straight into the atmosphere??

 

Yeah, we decided to just vent the wastegate out for ease of contruction of the downpipe and it actually doesn't really get that loud.....of course I think that is because it doesn't open much either. Stock actuated at ~9-10 psi takes me right up to redline anyway and by then I'm shifting.

Nice work on your car, but did anybody watch any of those videos in his site? Jesus, that Turbo Busa is just crazy. I was watching that speedo climb from 100 to 160 in like 2 seconds. 18psi on pump gas.

Exactly why I put that up.....crazy!!! I know someone here that has a 50 shot no his bike that's setup for drag and now they are thinking about making it forced as well. I'll try to get some pics when they start that.

 

you guys are talking like that internal wastegate is an external. I'm confused, do you have an internal or external wastegate? I dont see an external wastegate........
