Re: pics of your crx/civic FMIC mounting locations
i dont have pics yet but I can describe how mine was mounted, cause I did it today.
Across the top and bottom of the JRC 8" there are three bolt locations that stick out of the intercooler, about 7/16" wide. I drilled a hole dead center under the beam in the center, where the top of the intercooler sits, then i drilled on on each side of that, exactly where those bolting locations on the intercooler are, so that the intercooler slides up into those holes. Then I used the tabs that came with it to bolt to two stock honda holes in the lower core support beam. Just used a couple honda 10mm bolts, simplest install i ever dealt with. 8" hangs way low tho. I'll get pics tomorrow when there's daylight. |

I just plamsa cut my bumper support, and bolted it right in. Fits likea glove. Plan on getting the 8" to fill the gap on teh bottom now.

Re: pics of your crx/civic FMIC mounting locations
thought i would post mine...even though its a SMIC. I was pretty happy the way it mounted up. Its about the nicest thing on my car. :P
i just welded a peice of metal to the bottom of the crossmember, then drilled a hole in it, 1 bolt, holds solid as can be. if you grab it, move it up and down, you move the car with it. ;) http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg as you can see, I cut away at the inner fender well right at the top of the tire. http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg |

http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg I used metal hangar strap from Ace Hardware. You can get it at any local plumbing supply place. Y49CRXSI: what kind of wheels are those? Where did you get them? Im looking for a set of 5 star that are similar to the S2K wheels, and those look pretty close. |

Its all straight now, these are from fab and fitting time... not final fitment. Its 2 DSM Smics welded into a FMIC.
