PICS of new parts, couple Qs about injectors, & Z6 cam
Well, I bought a few parts a couple days ago, including a Walbro 255 from CSaddict, 450cc injectors & B&M FPR from ComputerJLT (including a bunch of other stuff from him too), oil lines from none other than stealthmode, ebay fuel rail, TD05H rebuild kit, and a couple gauges & an MSD Digital 6 ignition & shift light (I plan of drag racing consistently) from Summit Racing. Believe it or not, the ebay fuel rail is very nice, I only spent like 25-30 bucks on it, machining is nice, all the holes/threads line up and match, has a 1/2" bore, and I didnt think it was a bad deal. If it sucks ill throw it out, but how bad can it really be?? Anyway, heres pics.
Now about the injectors. I want to know what you guys think about the broken ends. Im pretty sure the black plastic caps on the end dont do anything, but theres one that has a pintle that looks broken. What do you gus think, will it work, if not, is it fixable, and if not, anyone selling just one? Also, arent the 450s supposed to have the part number MDL450? I just want to make sure I got everything right 100% before I rip into my car and find out one part doesnt work right or something and Im down for weeks. Im not blaming ComputerJLT of selling me bad ----, I just want to veryify since this is my first venture into boosting anything. One final thing, do I need to buy a set of DSM injector seals and Honda seals and mix and match what I need, or will all the Honda seals work (besides grinding out the one)? What about clips, can the OE ones be modified to fit the DSM injectors, or is it better to pick up a set of plugs?
I also bought a Z6 head for my car that I plan on installing a comp cams 59300 cam and getting the valve springs to go with it. I did a seach to see if anyone is rockin the titanium retainers that are also reccomended with it or not and I couldnt find anything. It seems as though most run the cam/springs without the titanium retainers, but I dont have a definate answer. My logic was that the increased spring pressure might split the stock retainers/valve locks even if the motor never sees 10k rpm (which is what those retainers are good to). I plan on using an OBD1 conversion w/ chipped vtec ecu and running stock redline, with the MSD set 2-300 below the ECU red line so if I accidentally bounce off the limiter, itll be off the MSD not ecu fuel cut. I found in my searches that Tranceminister broke a comp cam, but it seemed like it was from oil starvation. Are there any other instances that anyones heard of their ---- breaking like that? I have a Comp in my Bronco's 351M and its a ------ awesome cam. Also, when installing a cam on an import (new to me) can or do you have to degree it in? I was also looking at the Skunk2 cam gear, which would help degree it in correct? Correct me if Im wrong, Im trying to do it once, and do it right.

The ones w/ the plastic tip broken & missing should be fine though right? Is there anyway I can have them sent to a shop and have them reman the injectors? like clean/balance and replace the pintle?
