I have a 98 honda prelude I got my manifold the other day and the thing positions my turbo right into my motor mount. What should i do? i tried grinding some of the motor mount down but it seems like im going to have to grind it down to nothing. Im concerned about the strength of the motor mount. heres some pics... what should i do?
(this is not an SSautoCrap manifold. Its thicker much better from RS motor sports)

 

wow...---- man. don't really know what to tell ya. maybe fabricate new mani and sell the one you got. you don't realy have many options.

 

yea the manifold is lining up to the block. it fits in that pic but the manifold isnt bolted to the block yet.

damn i hope i can figue something out.

How bad is it to have cut motor mounts?

 

keep grinding down the mount.

 

did you try turning the turbo around the othe rway and see if it still hits?

 

If i turn the turbo around i cant fit an intake, around here with the ---- that flies around. i dont want to not run an intake

 

I hacked the ---- out of the motor mounts on my Civic.

if thats the front motor mount, theres a guy on here, JD, who took it completely off of his accord, and its been off for over a year with no problems at all, just take that bitch out, then it'll fit

 

yikes i dont know about that... especially boosting. i guess i can just had the ---- out of it. whats the worse thing that will happen if the motor mount goes?
