To a manual boost controler. Spikes the boost to 10psi by 5krpm back to 7psi @ 6500rpm cause of the internal w/g set at 6.5psi.

W/manual boost control the boost peaks out @ 14psi & then down to 10psi since the iwg is set at 6.5psi. The Vafc was tunned at a dyno by a pro, timming retarded 6degrees & 1 step colder plugs gapped to .0028. Walboro 255 & 450s. .63trim t3, fmic.
221hp at the wheels peaking @ 10-11psi 5000 rpm
210hp @ 7psi after 6500 rpm til 8000rpm where it goes to 215hp, the varience in hp is cause og the manual boost controler & the internal wastegate being set at different psi.

Is it running good? Its the vafc hack right? Where did you get the manifold to clear a/c? How did you find colder plugs? Sorry bout the questions just that im planning on doing the same on my b16.Thanks. Very nice looking set up.

Thanks, the manifold was custom made by a friend of mine who is the same guy that welded the pipes together. The Vafc works great, bad thing is I had to pork out $130. yesterday to dyno tune. I put in 2 check valve between the fuel pressure regulator and the BOV vacume t cause I kept on getting a CEL. the check valves fixed that problem. I'm using a manual boost controler along with the stock waste gate on the t3 which is set at 6.5psi. The psi use to go to
10-11 & then down to 6-7 cause of the stock w/g & the manual boost controler. Today I turned up the boost a little since I got the check valves and the CEL didn't go on. Now the boost goes to 14psi for bout 5 seconds and down to 10psi, til 8k rpm.

Congrats!!it's always nice to see another turboed civic. Great job on getting that drain line facing straight down-I hope you wrapped that baby though, so it will outlast the heat generated by the downpipe. pushing 14 psi on a factory b16a1 is a bit risky in my opinion but ---- it! you only live once. Since your friend welds, try to get that air filter through the hole, inside the fender well. I'm making alot more power in my b18c1 turboed civic since I did this. The thing is that while you're driving, the turbo is sucking hot air coming from the radiator and it's fan. Anyway, Good job man!
