Anyone have the tyrus 6" IC on a 5th gen civic? I bought the 5" a couple months back and had to hack the bumper apart to get the pipes to fit...I just want to see if anyone has it mounted and was still able to keep the side grills intact, reason being i just got OEM fogs for xmas...Thanks in advance

thanks...thats the 5" one right? I had the same one and my bumper was cut up like yours...i just found the 6" on his site and he has a pic of a 5th gen with the side grills intact

 

hey man, it was a bitch to install those 6 inch intercooler on the hatch man. I have to grind down the bumper to get those chargepipes to even fit.

 

is that your car? If so, do you still have your sidegrills? got any pics of the back of the bumper and what you needed to get it to fit? I just got my foglights and i really want to keep them on and still have the IC

 

yup. you have to cut out the side grills and grind them down with sandpaper. The chargepipe will stick out from the side vents. I dont think you can keep your foglights. Sell them to me.
