pg7 or pm6 on a d16a6?
i got a turbo d16a6 as you all know. and i got a 91 integra pg7 ecu lying around. i was wondering if it will give me more HP and a sronger fuel curve. as i heard from my friends.. the only problem is ... i dont remember if its out of a automatic or standard ... will this cause a problem with electronics? and ruin my car? fill me in

Re:pg7 or pm6 on a d16a6?
91 integras use pr4's not pg7's. I've never ran a pr4 on a d16, but I have ran the pg7 (88-89 teg) and it was definatly richer.

Re:pg7 or pm6 on a d16a6?
pg7 is only from a 88-89 5 speed
Im running one, definetely richer and redline is bumped to 7200, fuel cut @ 7500 Have an idea on how to get rid my rev limiter? Im going to probably be making power up to an around 8k with my new head Thanks |

Re:pg7 or pm6 on a d16a6?
I think MSD modules have the ability to change rev limitations.. so if you aren't going to chip it, you can always dump some coin on a 6AL

Re:pg7 or pm6 on a d16a6?
i have a pg7 and a MSD5
the msd5 has a set rev limiter at 6200 i was wondering if i can run the pg7 with turbo for better fuel curve, but i got a SAFC will that cause a problem since the safc resets the fuel curve all toghter.? |
Re:pg7 or pm6 on a d16a6?
Well hopefully I wont have to have it run by a standalone.
I want to just run a Safc and a good msd unit. I may just be running a big ---- of nitrous on this motor, so a unit that the redline could be adjusted and the timing retatrded at teh turn of a dial would be kick ass. Any help? |
