mine sounds similar just not as loud at 6psi on a D16z6 but mine won't blowoff when chucking revs like that.

cool deal man.. I'm sure some people shall find this usefull when selecting a BOV. It kinda sounds "different" then when I've heard them on 1g dsms (vented) before.. must be the quicker revs of the zc?
You could even convert them over to mp3 format to save on space. |

the rhb5 is mega small. It will spool boost just by revving the engine.

Mine doesn't soudnl ike that thou. Regular driving it has like a chirp noise and giving it some gas a mixture or chirp and whooosh. ( i need to get a vid up >:() |

I'm in the process of putting a rhb5 onto my dohc zc and im planning on running about 7-8psi of boost w/ 450cc injectors + turboedit. If you're running turboedit, could you hook me up with your map? nathan |

sounds like he had it in the engine bay close to where the bov is.

Yeah the mic was in the engine bay close to the blow off valve..

Yeah it is on cardomain.. I scanned my dyno sheet here.. If anyone could take a look at it and give me some suggestions it would be cool. I don't really have a good way to check the air/fuel anymore.. I've been trying to use ECU control but I'm not getting any info all the time. It starts to show all the values but then stops about 2 seconds later. I also tried uberdata and it works good and shows all the info but the air/fuel isn't going over 12. It get's to 12 and then just stays there. Maybe it's just running pig rich. Anyway.. Here's the dyno sheet...

man, that's a nice looking car! what is the paint on that thing (yeah I know it's gunmetal gray) but any specifics?
------------------------------- yes the 2g BOV sounds very similar (on a T25 2.0 eclipse car). ------------------------------- no i'm not on dialup right now, but I am a good amount of the time, so I try and look out for the slow guys ;) |
