People with 6th gen Civic and JR 5'' FMIC
Where did you all mount the intercooler? I cant seem to find a good place to mount it w/o having to cut out all of the front lower grill.
Any help or tips would be awesome, pics are even better 8) TIA |

Cut this ---- off the front bumper https://www.homemadeturbo.com/leia/turboek11.jpg Test Fit it https://www.homemadeturbo.com/leia/turboek16.jpg And then install charge pipes Basically you want to mount the intercooler under the bumper support as far back as you can. I used some sheet metal screws for mounting. This is a Custom Coach 6in core. |

Ok cool thanks, I thought there was another way to do it by keeping the grill ----, but im just gunna cut it out.
Thanks for the response :) |
Re:People with 6th gen Civic and JR 5'' FMIC
OK well I cut the sh*t out of the bumper last night. It now fits :) I just need to figure out how I need to mount it to the car. The mounting plates arent flush with the car. I have a month to figure that out though :)
Thanks again |

Remember Zipties are your friend ;)
actually a couple zip ties and the charge pipes alone can hold the intercooler in place just fine. |
Re:People with 6th gen Civic and JR 5'' FMIC
Hmm...I ordered the centered end tank 6" core so I'll have to run my charge pipes a couple inches higher on my 6th gen.
Anyways..thanks for the pics..I saved them for future reference. |

J/C but did you all just get rid of the washer fluid resevoir? Its right where the charge pipe would do a 180 back to the turbo.

I kept my Washer fluid box and ran it under it. I have a 96 CX hatch.
