pcv and turbo
when the car is in vacumm the pcv valve opens, but under boost it won't,my question is will the pressure built on your crankcase under boost damage you engine?anyone know a good way of fixing this,i think that if the pressure doesn't find a way out(cause the pcv is closed under boost)it will start blowing out things ,
please someone coments on this |

Re:pcv and turbo
Yeah, can't you put one of those filters in place of the pcv valve to vent it into the atmosphere? Pretty sure you can and this would take care of your problem

Re:pcv and turbo
ya you definitely need to vent it before you kill your rings. there are several methods people use including just venting to the atmosphere. its been discussed countless times at your favorite honda site, ie www.honda-tech.com
