pcv system options for turbo cars
 

Hey,
Quadnie gave me this awesome site all about boosting integras. In it, it talks about how to adjust the pcv system for proper usage after adding a turbo. Has anyone used a moroso dry sump breather tank and lines to run any turbo pcv plumbing options? Does it help? If not, what do people do to help release the pressure that the pcv valve is supposed to take care of? Heres the site i got my info from. http://www.beesandgoats.com/boostfaq/g2icturbo.html#PCV

i've always heard the easiest (not the most environmentally friendly) method was to use a valve cover breather and unhook your PCV valve and just let it vent to atmosphere

essentially that is what you are doing, but by putting a oil catch can there will allow you to keep the oil vapors from collecting on your intake manifold and also by hooking it up to the inlet arm will decrease crankcase pressure...

I'm about to buy a cheap ebay catch can for the GST so I'll keep everyone informed. If you have any questions regarding how the system works then go ahead and ask in the other thread (just to keep things simple).
