I'm doing a turbo setup for a 1998 Integra GS. I'm not 100% clear on what to do with the PCV system. As I can see the crank case vent has a valve in it thus preventing the boost from entering the crankcase. I will double check but I think the valve cover has one as well. Would it not be best to leave the crank vent as it is and just modify the valvecover vent with a checkvalve so pressure can escape into the intake or vacuum can be obtained from the manifold while not under boost?

you need circulation regardless of what rpm range you are in. Stop that circulation (by hooking up a cheesy round filter off the valve cover) and then you will be blowing seals.

Just do it the DSM way + use an oil catch can, hook your lines up before the turbo (between compressor & filter) that way you will have constant sucking action (no pun intended).

Putting a filter on the valve cover IN NO WAY stops air from circulating. The filter is there to filter air that is being sucked into the 'system' the the Valve Cover Breather.

The rest of what you said is kinda right. To hook up lines between the filter and turbo will only pull a slight amount of vacuum, unless you run a shitty filter that doesnt flow very well. The better the filter, the less vacuum you will have in these pre-turbo intake lines.
